Summary
A man was arrested yesterday after an alleged arson attack on a pub in Cornwall. The arrest followed a fire at the Upper Deck bar in Perranporth, on Cornwall's north coast, at about 4.30am on Tuesday. Yesterday police said a 28-year-old local man had been arrested on suspicion of causing arson with intent to endanger life. He was bailed to appear at Newquay police station on March 13.
POLICE and Dartmoor Rescue Group were last night searching for a missing 77-year-old man. Ian Satow, from Chagford on Dartmoor, was staying with friends at North Tawton, West Devon, but was last seen at 10.30am yesterday when he had an appointment to see a nurse. The address in North Tawton is quite isolated and police searched the surrounding grounds and a large pond but were unable to find him. Anyone who has seen Mr Satow should call Devon and Cornwall Police on 08452 777 444.See the full content of this document
