Man in Pub Attack Left with Fractures

Summary


A man was left with serious facial injuries after an unprovoked attack at a pub in Plymouth. The 30-year-old victim, who lives in Cornwall, suffered a fractured cheekbone and eyesocket in the attack outside the entrance to the Skiving Scholar Public House in Tavistock Place. The man cannot remember the incident itself, which took place just after midnight on Monday. Anyone with any information is asked to call PC6580 Printer on 08452 77744.

FIREFIGHTERS rescued a dog from a flat as fire ripped through the kitchen. The blaze happened at approximately 6.45pm yesterday at a property on Guinness Lane, in the Exwick area of Exeter. No one was hurt in the incident and the dog was unharmed. The damage caused by the fire, which is believed to be accidental, was minimal. Fire crews had it under control by approximately 7.30pm.
