FORMER Plymouth Argyle and England legend Paul Mariner believes the Westcountry has all the attributes it needs to become an attractive host city for the 2018 World Cup.

As one of a number of cities across the country bidding to be part of the England bid, Plymouth officials yesterday drafted in one of Argyle's all-time greats to throw his weight behind their exciting proposals.
