With two wins and second place, Bristol-based Suzuki star John May (pictured left) was the top points scorer in the experts' event in the Torridge club's round of the Remedies Bar Motocross Championship at Waggadon Farm, Torrington, last Sunday.
The event was one of three that marked the club's 50th birthday, but it was marred by a four-bike pile-up shortly after the start of the second experts' race in which current champion David Yelland from Exeter was injured and was air-lifted to North Devon Hospital.
