Armed Forces Minister Bob Ainsworth has announced plans to move an entire squadron of elite Royal Marines from Poole to Devonport, Plymouth.

During his first visit to the base since landing the ministerial role in the summer, Mr Ainsworth also revealed that Devonport had an "important" role in the future of the Royal Navy.
