Summary
Hardy competitors hauled heavy backpacks across 30 miles of tough moorland terrain yesterday, to raise more than Pounds 100,000 for injured servicemen and their families. The Chara Challenge was booked to capacity in the second year of the event, as 250 people pitted their wits and strength against Dartmoor.
They chose to "yomp" either 15 miles in seven hours or 30 miles in ten hours, all bearing a 32lb load.See the full content of this document
