Summary
A man was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries yesterday after a car crash in Truro. The injured man was travelling in a Rover 100 when it was in collision with a VW Polo. The Polo's female driver was taken to hospital by ambulance with injuries which were not thought to be serious. Both were taken to the Royal Cornwall Hospital, Treliske, Truro at about 7.40am. The accident happened on the A39 Newquay Road near MFI and was closed as paramedics tended the injured.
