A man was charged with stabbing to death a gay man and trying to kill his partner, police said yesterday. David Kilcullen, 46, of Bickley, near Bromley, Kent, is accused of murdering Gerald Edwards, 59, and the attempted murder of Chris Bevan, 56. The pair were found with stab wounds at their flat in Bromley last Tuesday. Kilcullen will appear at Greenwich Magistrates' Court today. A 59-year-old man also arrested in connection with the attack was bailed to return in April pending further inquiries.
