I've schooled Or Noir De Somoza a couple of times over David Pipe's Grand Nationalstyle fences and I couldn't be happier to ride him in the National. He jumped really well and he's a very good horse. I can't help thinking he's the forgotten horse of the race.

I've ridden in the race 11 times and having the experience can be both an advantage and a disadvantage. There are plenty of jockeys who have won on their first attempt, like Liam Treadwell on Mon Mome.
