Summary
THE word "journey" is heard so often now that it has almost become a joke to use it to describe any experience. Contestants on TV "talent" and reality shows are, it appears, contractually required to describe their experience in three ways. They will say that "this is my dream". They will go on to insist that it is what they have wanted to do their whole life. Finally they are certain to declare that they "have been on an incredible journey".
