T im Quinn, like most men of his generation, grew up reading the best comics of the day - The Dandy, The Beano, The Topper, Valiant and Eagle. But when it became time to "put away childish things", he opted for a career as an editor, working for DC Thomson, who published the comics he loved, and publishers Marvel.
