Cricket World Pays Tribute to Dignified Hero D'oliveira

International Cricket Council chief executive Haroon Lorgat paid tribute to former England all-rounder Basil D'Oliveira, who has died aged 80, saying: "His legacy stretches way beyond cricket".

South Africa-born D'Oliveira, who passed away on Saturday after a long illness, made headlines in 1968 when included in the England squad for a South Africa tour which had to be called off as the South African government refused to accept his presence.
