A piece of music which began as a tribute to eight brave Cornish lifeboatmen who lost their lives in the Solomon Browne disaster is rapidly gaining a worldwide reputation.
Penlee, composed by Simon Dobson, was originally commissioned by Cornwall Youth Brass Band and received its public premiere at St Michael's Church in Newquay in December 2008.See the full content of this document
