Cornwall's Daniel Elston led the race for honours at the Sunday Telegraph Center Parcs Grand Prix Finals in La Manga, Spain where Devon's Ashley Hewitt was a losing semi-finalist in the boys' 16 and under singles.

Duchy number one Daniel Elston (St Austell), now based at the Bath Tennis Academy, beat the higher-rated Connor Glennon (Leics) 6- 3, 6-2 to reach the final of the boys' 14 and under singles where he lost out to Robert Carter (Essex) 3-6, 7-6 (7-5), 6-1.
