I am certain that I am not the only one to be inundated with requests for money from charities. This week I have received two sets of raffle tickets. I have my own favourites to whom I give a small amount each month like ShelterBox and the RNLI, but most of all I like to support the Devon Air Ambulance.

It is not just because they came to my aid when I had a heart attack, I had started supporting them before then! We are very lucky to have two air ambulances in Devon kept in the air by public donations.
