Devon and Cornwall Police have been praised in an assessment for their neighbourhood policing strategy.

Acting Chief Constable Nigel Arnold said he was "delighted" with the results of the police assessments 2005-06, which he said reaffirmed the good work in neighbourhood policing and maintaining low crime levels.
