A COLLECTION of 23 travel posters from the 1950s, advertising popular holiday destinations for British Railways, has been sold at Penzance Auction House for Pounds 6,000.
They included one of St Ives, showing a glimpse of the harbour and printed by Waterlow and Sons Ltd, which auctioneer David Lay sold for the auction's top price of Pounds 650.See the full content of this document
