Sixteen entrepreneurs with a combined business turnover of more than Pounds 5 million have completed a EU-backed enterprise development scheme. They were the first to graduate from Cornwall Enterprising Women's Growth Programme, held in partnership with Truro and Penwith College Business Centre's Pounds 539,000 ESF Convergence funded Empowering Smart Women project.

The Growth Programme, which was held over eight fortnightly sessions from January, focused on topics including business planning, sales and marketing, finance, HR and "personal effectiveness."
