Devon and Cornwall's tourism industry could take a share of a pounds12.8 million government pot designed to help boost business.

Six proposals have been shortlisted from 53 in the race for funds from the Rural Development Programme for England, administered by the South West Regional Development Agency (SWRDA). Detailed applications for the six projects will be submitted to the agency for formal appraisal.
