A motorist has been jailed for a year after a "massive crash" which left him and two women whose car he ploughed into badly injured.
Judge Philip Wassall told Paul Evans, 30, it was only luck that nobody was killed when he drove into an oncoming car on the A396 between Tiverton and Bickleigh in Devon, after overtaking six other vehicles. The defendant, from Wales, was also banned from driving for a year at Exeter Crown Court yesterday after admitting dangerous driving.See the full content of this document
