Please may we thank the people of Cornwall who so generously give of their time and money to support the work the Friends of the Royal Cornwall Hospital do in helping with the comfort and quality of services given to patients and staff.

At our recent annual meeting, the Friends heard from Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust chair Peter Davies about the trust's transformation in performance. He acknowledged that focus on key priorities had seen its attention diverted from its Friends and volunteers in recent months, and said he now looked forward to ensuring that recognition of their commitment to the trust and its patients was revitalised.
