Summary

Western Counties leaders Paignton took a 50-point hammering when they went to Wadebridge prior to Christmas. The boot was on the other foot at Queens Park when the Cherries won the rematch 31-7

Paignton shot 21 points clear in the first half-hour, starting with a try on 12 minutes when No.8 Pete Mortimore crossed near the posts. Ten minutes later, scrum-half Andy Sandercock dived over after pressure at a five-metre scrum. The best try of the game came when centre Sam Nelson-Smith burst through the Wadebridge 22. Full-back James Wood converted all three tries.
