Tess Nash suggests we should close all Public Rights of Way if they are overgrown, on the grounds that they are clearly not being used.
What nonsense! At this time of year vegetation spreads across most rights of way - there would scarcely be a footpath or bridleway left if we followed Tess's daft policy. I have fought my way through quite a few paths this summer. In a month or two they will be walkable again, or will have been properly cleared.See the full content of this document
