Rowers Move On to Paignton for Championship Event

Gig rowers will be heading to Paignton this Saturday for the Tribute Regatta - one of the championship events on the circuit. Registration is from 9.30am at Paignton Rowing Club, with the first race of the day getting underway at noon.

There will be a barbecue and refreshments on the waterfront, ample parking in one of the multi-storey car parks close to the sea front, and reserved spaces for trailers on the green behind the beach to enable easy unloading. Members of the gig club will be on hand to help launch the boats. The men's races are followed by the juniors and the ladies crews with the championships rounded off immediately after the last race with prize-giving, music and dancing.
