I read with interest the letter (October 24) relating to a trip for a group of senior citizens to Bridgwater Carnival having to be cancelled as the plans failed to meet the requirements of the required "risk assessment".
The problem was reported to be a combination of the fact that they would have to return very late at night and lack of communication in the event of a breakdown on many parts of the North Devon Link road.See the full content of this document
