A record number of classic Cornish sailing vessels are expected to be showing off their colours during next weekend's Boats In The Bay event to launch St Ives September Festival.
The annual celebration of traditional luggers in the bay is organised by St Ives Jumbo Association and was first staged in 2006 to gauge public support for a revival of traditional sail in St Ives and, in particular, the creation of a racing class of a fishing boat peculiar to St Ives and known as a "jumbo".See the full content of this document
