A Royal Navy sailor who came to Britain as an asylum seeker has been jailed for seven-and-a-half years for smuggling Pounds 2 million worth of cocaine into the UK on board a warship.

Teresa Matos picked up 4.94kg of 100 per cent pure cocaine while HMS Manchester had docked at the port of Cartagena in Colombia in July.
