The bank of Scotland Corporate's (HBOS) commercial operations in the South West have been restructured and strengthened as it embarks on an expansion programme designed to steal market share from its rivals.

The previous HBOS commercial business team, which operated across the whole south of England, has been split in two, creating a new team dedicated to increasing market share for the bank in the South West. It is expected that Plymouth and Exeter, as well as Torquay and other towns in Devon and Cornwall, will play a significant role in the growth.
