The Devon Environmental Business Initiative Awards 2009 environmental awards are to be launched at Paignton Zoo today. The zoo was the overall winner of last year's awards. DEBI chairman Andy Vickery said: "Taking part in the awards is an opportunity to share best practice and showcase your company." SUSTAINABLE building organisation Ecos is restructuring to focus its resources on sustainable building consultancy, training events and refurbishment. The Somerset-based trust's director, Charles Couzens, said: "Planned sustainable new build initiatives are being put on hold temporarily.
