He's considered to be the most talented dinghy helmsman of recent times, but Ben Ainslie has had a fight on his hands lately to retain his place as the natural first choice for a place at the Beijing Olympics. However, that came to a conclusion on Tuesday, when the double Olympic gold medallist got the nod from Royal Yachting Association selectors for the single berth in the heavyweight Finn class following his impressive showing at the Sydney International Regatta last month.
