Summary
The Garland family of Cornwall are becoming increasingly well known, due to Roger's first-class illustrations for Tolkien's Lord of the Rings. It was his first commission, arriving from publishers Allen & Unwin in 1981, and produced further work for the Tolkien calendars in 1984 and 1989 and he is tied up on three more Tolkien books with colour and black and white illustrations.
All will be available as limited edition prints eventually, but so far only five have been reproduced.See the full content of this document
