A 51-year-old man from Newquay, a 22-year-old man from Quintrell, a 57-year-old old man from Portugal, and a 56-year-old woman from Quintrell were arrested on suspicion of possessing a Class A drug with intent to supply. A 21-year-old Newquay man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a Class A drug, and a 45-year-old man from Newquay was arrested on suspicion of possessing a Class B drug.
A RARE white stag has been found strangled to death in East Devon. The animal was discovered by a walker in countryside near Sidmouth. It is thought it had got its head caught in a rope before trying to free itself by running around a tree. It eventually fell to the ground, its nose and mouth stuck in the earth. The animal could have taken days to die. The RSPCA has renewed its call for people to stop fly-tipping, saying it is responsible for the injury and death of countless animals.See the full content of this document
