A man from Devon who was thrown from a ski-lift cable car when it hit another gondola on a Scottish mountain range remained in a stable condition in hospital last night.

Jelle Koen, from Totnes, was thrown from a gondola when it was hit by another car at the Nevis Range resort, near Aonach Mor, close to Fort William, on July 13.
