Ex-yeovil Town manager Russell Slade has denied allegations that he was guilty of misconduct towards the end of his time in charge of the Somerset club - and he has raised the prospect of legal action against his former employers.

Slade, who is now in charge of Town's Coca-Cola League One relegation rivals Brighton & Hove Albion, parted company with the Glovers last month. The reasons for his exit from Huish Park have not yet been fully explained, but a statement issued on Friday night by Yeovil chairman John Fry has caused a major controversy which could end up as a court case.
