Software Group Secures Lifeline

Struggling software group Torex Retail is believed to have been given a six-month lifeline in which to keep the company afloat, potentially saving more than 100 Westcountry jobs.

National media reports suggest that the company's main lender, the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), has agreed to increase its banking facility by between pounds20 million and pounds30 million, with an announcement expected this week.
