SOMERSET'S title aspirations suffered a major setback yesterday when day one of their LV County Championship match against Warwickshire at Edgbaston saw no play because of rain.

Somerset are desperate to get a result from the match to maintain their pursuit of Durham at the top of the table. With just six fixtures remaining, the second-placed Cidermen are 32 points off the pace and travelled to Birmingham with high hopes of bagging a big haul of points to reel in the runaway leaders.
