SCAREMONGERING foreign journalists will face the wrath of British diplomats under plans to limit the impact of the swine flu outbreak on our "fragile" tourism industry.

Culture Secretary Ben Bradshaw has asked the Foreign Office to rebut "misleading or hysterical reporting" amid fears tourists will abandon plans to visit at a time when many hoped tourism would help the country through the recession.
