The pounds150 million-plus contract to maintain Devon's highway infrastructure during the next five years has been awarded to South West Highways for a third time, writes Emma Corlett.
The highways term maintenance contract covers maintaining and repair of the county council's road network of 8,000 miles, 3,100 bridges, 1,900 miles of footway, 620 miles of cycleway, 13 million square metres of grass verge and 160,000 gullies.See the full content of this document
