While many children grow up hearing fairy tales and fiction, young Ed Fox was enthralled by equally fascinating tales - except that the ones he was told were all true. Now an author and the curator of a maritime museum, Mr Fox, who lives in South Devon, looks back on his childhood fondly.
"When I was a child my grandfather, instead of telling me stories about knights and fairies and other kinds of things grandfathers do, told me stories which were fascinating but which had actually happened," said the 28-year-old, who grew up in Portsmouth.See the full content of this document
