Summary


T here are numerous Bull Rings in this country, named after markets where farmers paraded their finest livestock. Around the edge, stalls were erected by traders and soon became a permanent fixture. Throughout the country several towns retain the name, with perhaps the most famous being in Birmingham.

The area was changing, however. Greater tolls on traditional traders were forcing many to depart, drawing in vendors like dried flower or match sellers in their place.
