Summary
Dairy producers turned out in force for the special sale of dairy cattle at Hallworthy Stockyard to bid for an entry of top-quality Holsteins - and the strong demand throughout pushed claims to a top 1,650gns.
Barry Colton, of auctioneers KVN Stockdale, said: "The milk price fall has hit producers hard, but it's a case of digging in to try to get as much milk as economically as possible while cows are at grass.
