TORQUAY United manager Paul Buckle praised the efforts of his players after they lost a penalty shoot-out 5-3 to Southampton in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy at St Mary's Stadium last night.
The Gulls led 2-0 at the break, thanks to first-half goals from Tim Sills and Nicky Wroe, from the penalty spot, but the Saints levelled the tie at 2-2 with a brace by Senegal international Papa Waigo N'Diaye.See the full content of this document
