PLYMOUTH saw the end of an era yesterday when its Toshiba factory ended television production for good. In April, the electronics giant announced it would stop manufacturing televisions at its Ernesettle factory - with the loss of 270 jobs - and move production to Poland. The Japanese company said it was cutting 3,900 jobs globally following its worst annual loss.
