Stroke victims will have a better chance of survival and recovery in Cornwall, thanks to a Pounds 30,000 donation announced this week by the Friends of the Royal Cornwall Hospital (RCH).
The money, which forms part of the Phoenix Stroke Appeal, will furnish the dedicated stroke unit at Treliske near Truro with equipment to help raise Cornwall's stroke services to "gold standard". This donation will push the appeal over the Pounds 100,000 mark - one-fifth of the way to its target.See the full content of this document
