In your recent editorial about Trident (Tug-of-war over Trident, July 17), you say that "While the submarine-based missile system is expensive, it is unthinkable that it will not be updated".
Why is it "unthinkable"? Most of the countries of the world do not have any missile system, let alone the most expensive one of all, and spend a much higher proportion of their money on things more related to sanity.See the full content of this document
