YOU could call it a narrow escape. This rare white lobster only just escaped the pot after she was hauled up by a fisherman off Cornwall. The bright white female lobster - affectionately nicknamed Lily by staff at Newquay's Blue Reef aquarium - was caught four miles off Perranporth by fisherman Martin Gilbert on his boat Tis Hardly On.
He spotted Lily's unusual appearance and scooped her from the pack of other rather less lucky lobsters destined for local restaurants.See the full content of this document
