Summary
The Tetcott Hunt based on the North Cornwall/North Devon border chalked up two firsts at their opening meet on Saturday, November 3.
It was a proud moment for Andrew Bozdan who led his first hunt following his appointment as master and huntsman back in May. It was also a first for 15-year old Vinnie Shadrick who initially took on the role of field master. Vinnie gamely stood in until her older sister, Andrea, became available later in the day. "Vinnie did an absolutely brilliant job at short notice. I think this makes her the youngest ever field master to ride with a hunt anywhere," said Mr Bozdan, who stresses the importance of having young riders on board. The very successful opening meet at the New Inn, Kilkhampton, followed the national pattern with more mounted followers and supporters than on previous occasions.See the full content of this document
