I AM appealing for support for UNICEF (the United Nations Children's Fund) to help children and their families in Haiti with life-saving supplies.

Getting supplies to those who need them is UNICEF's absolute, number one, priority. In this emergency it has the responsibility to lead all other charities and agencies in providing water and sanitation, ensuring proper nutrition of children, and ensuring that as relief work continues children can get back to school.
