Summary
Films by Academy Award-winning director Francis Ford Coppola will be shown at the University of Plymouth next month. Starting with his Mafia drama, The Godfather, on November 5, the series will continue with thriller The Conversation on November 12 and Vietnam War drama Apocalypse Now: Redux on November 19. The series has been organised by Peninsula Arts, the cultural umbrella organisation for the university, in association with The Guerrilla Cinema Project and supported through the RIFE Investment Fund. The films will be shown in the Jill Craigie Cinema in the Roland Levinsky Building, starting at 6.30pm. Tickets cost pounds 5, pounds 3 for over-60s and are free for Friends Plus and University of Plymouth students and staff.
