A 'significant upturn' in sales during 2011 and a South West rebrand have contributed to housebuilder Linden Homes achieving a rise in revenue and profits in the past 12 months. Earlier this year, three of the Westcountry's housebuilders were renamed Linden Homes by parent group Galliford Try plc. Newton Abbot-based Midas Homes and Gerald Wood Homes and Truro-based Rosemullion, were rebranded in a move to create a national presence for Galliford Try's residential developments across the UK.
This strengthened identity, an accelerated strategic growth plan in the south and national expansion have contributed to a rise in profits from operations to Pounds 31.6 million from Pounds 17.6 million in 2010 on revenue of Pounds 388.5 million, up 23 per cent from Pounds 316 million in 2010. The company's operating profit margin rose from 5.6 per cent to 8.1 per cent.See the full content of this document
